MFS Resilience Research

military family
MFS provides a continuum of services to enhance family resilience amid military challenges. A healthy military family is the backbone of CAF operational readiness and community vitality. Exploring systemic issues involving multiple stakeholders across communities require a unified approach. For this reason, MFS conducts its own survey research and sponsors external research on family resilience.

Family resilience is the ability of a family to respond positively to an adverse situation and emerge from the situation feeling strengthened, more resourceful, and more confident than in its prior state (Simon, Murphy, & Smith, 2005).
