Members attending the Royal Military College of Canada (RMC) must pass the RMC Physical Performance Test (RMC PPT), in addition to the FORCE Evaluation.
The RMC PPT has been established to ensure OCdts have the physical fitness required for their rigorous military training, while attending a military education institution.
This fitness evaluation is not based on an occupational requirement but rather is part of the college standard.
The RMC PPT consist of six test items:
a. 2.4km Run;
b. Seated Medicine Ball Toss (SMBT);
c. Standing Long Jump (SLJ);
d. Isometric Mid-thigh Pull (IMTP);
e. Illinois Agility Run (IAR); and
f. Flexed Arm Hang (FAH)
