CAF family members

  • LRDG Self-Directed Learning Program
    • Learn English or French at your own pace 
    • Online learning curriculum consisting of 16 modules that are aligned with the Government of Canada A, B, and C linguistic levels 
    How to Register: 
    • Connect with your SLT coordinator at your local MFS/MFRC 
    • OR sign in to CF One and complete the LRDG Self-Directed Learning registration form
  • Rosetta Stone (Beginner Level)
    • Ideal for beginners in English or French 
    • Interactive guided learning 
    • Engagement requirement: 1 hour per month 
    How to Register: 
    Connect with your SLT coordinator at your local MFS/MFRC
  • Language of Your Host Community
    • Learn the language where you are posted through the Rosetta Stone Learning Program 
    • Engagement requirement: 1 hour per month 
    How to Register: 
    • Connect with your SLT coordinator at your local MFS/MFRC 
    • Proof of screening or posting message is required

CAF family members under 18 years of age

  • Rosetta Stone for Kids 
    Rosetta Stone for Kids offers interactive, age-appropriate lessons that allow learners to progress at their own pace while building confidence in listening, speaking, reading, and pronunciation. 

    This flexible, online program can be used at home to support continuity in language learning during transitions and relocations. 
    • Available to school-aged CAF dependents 
    • For English or French language development 
    • To learn the host community language 
    • Engagement requirement: 1.5 hours per month

CF One cardholders

  • LRDG Self-Directed Learning Program
    • Learn English or French 
    • Online learning curriculum consisting of 16 modules that are aligned with the Government of Canada A, B, and C linguistic levels

    • OR sign in to CF One and complete the LRDG Self-Directed Learning registration form
