CAF Imagery Contest

The CAF Imagery contest is all about celebrating the beauty found within our military communities - whether it's a family gathering or scenic vacation, sports tournament victory celebration or the beauty in your backyard -- anything goes as long as it’s capturing Military Community Life, Military Operations or Canadian Pride. 

Contest Details

  • Photographers must be CFOne card holders (apply for a FREE card).
  • Photographers can submit a maximum of 3 photos
  • 3 winners will be selected in December, one winner per category
  • Each winner will receive a WestJet voucher for 2 return tickets from CAN to CAN, USA, Mexico or Caribbean 
  • Contest opens September 3 and closes midnight October 15

Canadian Pride

All that Canadians have pride in; celebrating our history, landscapes, culture and achievements. Includes photos that demonstrate engaging and inspiring youth, celebrating our diversity and encouraging inclusion, establishing a spirit of reconciliation with Indigenous peoples, discovering Canada’s natural beauty and strengthening environmental awareness.

Military Community Life

Our CAF Community in all walks of life, including but not limited to parenting, family, children, relationships, pets, modelling, fashion, people engaged in outdoor/indoor activities, weddings and vacations. Photos may include one person or a group of people.

Military Operations

Military personnel (in uniform) at work, on duty, on parade, on exercise, on training, on deployment, during operations at home and abroad, using the tools of the trade; or photographs showing military equipment or vehicles in action, where military personnel may not be clearly visible.

*NEW CATEGORY* : Your Air Force 

To commemorate the RCAF Centennial, the CAF Imagery Contest is hosting the Your Air Force category. This category is open to all Canadians.  Photos submitted to this category pay tribute to the RCAF Centennial, whether it be related to an event, activity, celebration or personal experience. Examples include: Air Shows, balls, illuminations, STEM activities, Centennial Tulips, Winterlude, golf tournaments, dedications, Centennial coin recipients and merchandise.
