Firefighter

There are two fitness evaluations that apply to National Defence Fire Service Firefighters:

  • A selection standard for those applying to join the trade, called the Firefighter Pre-Entry Fitness Evaluation (FPFE)
  • A maintenance standard that must be completed annually, called the Firefighter Physical Fitness Maintenance Program (FF PFMP)
