How many sessions will I need?

-
What will happen during the assessment?
The first session will be an assessment, followed by up to 3 sessions of Live Couples Therapy. After 3 sessions, the therapist will evaluate to determine if further sessions (up to 10) would be beneficial. During the assessment, the therapist will try to get to the heart of why you’ve chosen to seek help and will ask about the challenges you’re facing. If the therapist believes that the services we offer are a good fit, they’ll discuss a potential treatment plan. (A second session may also be necessary to properly determine next steps.)
The assessment is customized based on the your needs and the therapist’s assessment structure, which follows evidence-based practices. It may consist of an interview, self-report measures, discussion of your concerns/goals, and next steps. It’s an opportunity for you to share more about your challenges, issues, background and history and understand expectations for therapy and your treatment plan. -
