The PMFRC offers a range of child care options to meet your family's needs including: full-time daycare centres, licensed home-based day care, and temporary, occasional and emergency child care. All PMFRC Childcare programs are licensed under the Child Care and Early Years Act. This licensing promotes the maintenance of health and safety standards.

PMFRC Prenatal and Postnatal Support

Kiddie Kollege offers morning and afternoon sessions to Military and civilian children aged two-and-a-half to five years of age.

Licensed Private Home Daycare Providers

  • Would you like to become a licensed private home day care provider (PHDC) with the PMFRC and take part in the new Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care (CWELCC) system? The PMFRC handles billing and invoicing so PHDCs always get paid on time!
  • Currently accepting applications to open Private Home Day Cares.  

EMERGENCY CHILDCARE PROVIDERS

  • Emergency Child Care Providers are scheduled for on call shifts and receive a guaranteed honorarium. Payment is calculated per placement and number of children, and placements vary per month.
  • Recruitment is ongoing, applications are accepted anytime.
