North Side Child Care
Occasional Child Care For Non-Work Related Reasons
Program Overview
The purpose of the North Side Child Care is to offer flexible, quality care from Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This is a program that can be used on an occasional basis by all families, including families who have children with special needs and require respite care or to assist with the well-being and mental health support when a parent needs time to focus on self-care. This is a family age group licensed program that can accept children 0 to 12 years of age. The program provides extra support or an occasional break to families.
The North Side Child Care Program is not meant to be an alternative full-time daycare. It is a unique, licensed program designed to offer flexibility in hours and to support the wider CAF community with options for flexible care to address the various unique military lifestyle challenges. Families can use the program for as little as three (3) hours a day or up to thirty-two hours a month, depending on available space. The program is open to Military and civilian families.
It provides a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment in which the children can be introduced to various learning experiences and develop socialization skills through peer play. Our early learning environments employ registered Early Childhood Educators.
For families looking for temporary, work-related child care, please visit the Specialized Care program.
