Emergency Child Care Providers

You can become an ECC if you are:
- 18 years or older
- have space in your home
- live in close proximity to Petawawa
- can complete a screening process and mandatory training
Emergency Child Care Providers remain on call during their scheduled shift and receive compensation for the time that they are on call. Children from Military families requiring short-term emergency care will come stay at their home until the Family Care Plan can be activated.
