Play Troop / EarlyON Drop-In at the South Side Community Centre

Please note that the program is closed the following days: Closed  March 9 and 23, and April 3, 6, 13, and 27. 

Join us at Play Troop / EarlyON at the South Side Community Centre from 9:00-11:30 AM for a drop-in, in-person playgroup for parents and care providers with children ages 0-6.  The South Side Community Centre provides access to indoor and outdoor play spaces. Bring indoor shoes and a peanut free snack. Please note that hot beverages such as tea and coffee are not permitted in the Play Troop / EarlyON program areas.

Sensory Play Lending Library

The Play Troop / EarlyON Sensory-Play Lending Library is comprised of three main components: a sensory tray, sensory items and a variety of tools that were all thoughtfully chosen to promote exploration and purposeful play. Families have the opportunity to get creative and enjoy some sensory experiences in the comfort of their own home for one week at a time. A new sensory experience is available to borrow every other week!

Kits are available for registered families to pick up every other Friday at the South Side Community Centre at 1578 Wolfe Ave. Visit www.keyon.ca to pre-register and view the next upcoming pick up dates. 
 

Take Home Kits - Now available in English and French!

Do you love participating in the fun and engaging activities that Play Troop/EarlyON sets up each day ? Would you like the opportunity to do them at home too? Now you can ! Each kit will contain everything you need to create your own fun at home. Recommended for children ages 2.5 -years old. Limited quantities are available in English and French.

This program welcomes all families and is facilitated in English with French support available on request.
