Frequently Asked Questions

Process to Send a Package

Family members dropping off parcels must:

  • Bring your package to either the PMFRC North Side Office (10-16 Regalbuto Ave.) or the South Side Community Centre (1578 Wolfe Ave.) and remember to bring your own box
  • The South Side Community Centre has a wrapping station where brown paper, tape, writing utensils and slips are provided
  • The PMFRC North Side Office also offers brown paper, tape, writing utensils and slips but there is limited space to wrap
  • Once wrapped and labeled, bring your package to the receptionist on duty

Our staff will be available to help with any questions you may have.

Mail will be picked up once a week.

Parcel Packaging

All packages must be securely packaged in a sturdy box to avoid damage and leaking. Place breakable items or liquid substances within a strong outer container to avoid damaging other items. Canadian Forces Morale Mail is not insurable or traceable.

In order to avoid confusion (ie when there are other labels, barcodes etc. on the box), all packages must be wrapped in plain, brown paper which is located at both PMFRC locations.  The address is written directly on the paper with the contents of the package in the lower left corner.

Customs Forms are required when sending parcels through Morale Mail.  You may get these at the South Side Community Centre, PMFRC North Side, CANEX Super Mart, or Base Mailroom.

Addressing Your Package

Place the return address on the top-left corner of the parcel.

The receivers address is placed in the centre of the box, written clearly in uppercase letters.

A list of all contents should be written in the lower left corner of the package.

If your package is being sent to Ukraine, you will need to fill out an additional load list that will be placed in an envelope and taped to the side of your package.

Mailing Address

Addresses for overseas operations may be found on the Government of Canada website.
