Mess Clearance Procedures

Procedure for Mess Clearance and Membership Application:
  1. Fill out the Clearance Form.
  2. Email the corresponding supporting documents to [email protected].
  3. If you are applying for Mess Associate Membership, please fill out the Application Associate Membership Form and email it to our office.
  4. Please include the following supporting documents:
  • Posting Message or Clearance Sheet from your unit that requires Mess Signature.
  • Military Clearance Form from the order room/HR department or your unit authority.
  • Email confirmation of your start or departure date from your unit authority (valid for Mess clearance).

Use the following format for the email subject line:
Type of clearance - Your last name - Last 3 digits of your Service number - YYMM:

  • Example for Sgt DOE with service number A12345678 Out-Clearance in September 2022: OUT-DOE678-2209
  • Example for Sgt DOE with service number A12345678 In-Clearance: IN-DOE678-2209
  • Example for Sgt DOE with service number A12345678 Internal Transfer or promotion: TRA-DOE678-2209

Note: If you have an outstanding Mess Balance, your Out-Clearance can only be approved after the balance is cleared. The Mess staff will remind you if you have an outstanding balance when you submit your Out-Clearance Form,. You can make the payment by email and transfer the funds to [email protected]. Once your clearance process is completed, you will receive a confirmation.
