• What is Our Family Wizard?
  Our Family Wizard (OFW) is a co-parenting app that provides a secure communication platform to keep families connected, even when they have to be apart. Parents can share pictures and journal entries, manage appointments and medical information, track expenses and more. 
• Who Can Access the App?
  This version of OFW is available to military families residing in the National Capital Region who anticipate being separated for 6-months or longer due to a CAF-related absence. Either parent can make the initial request, but the military member’s service number is required in the request form. 
• Is the App Only Available to Deployed Families?
  No. We use the term deployment to encompass all types of absences. This app can be requested by NCR CAF families anticipating any type of work-related separation (lasting longer than 6 months) including Deployment, Temporary Duty (TD), Imposed Restriction (IR), Attach Posting (AP), any military training course (BMQ or other).  
• How do I Request Access to the App?
  You can request the app by completing the registration form on this page. A Deployment Program Specialist will be in touch once we receive your request. Alternatively, contact an MFS-NCR Program Specialist at [email protected] to set up an appointment. 
• How Much Does OFW Cost?
  This version of OFW, that has been adapted to suit the needs of our CAF families, is available for one year, free of charge to NCR military families anticipating a deployment of 6 months or longer. If you decide you would like to continue using OFW after your one-year subscription, they do offer military pricing and you can contact them directly for more information.
