Deployment Dolls
For a limited time and until supplies last, PMFRC Deployment Services will offer Deployment Dolls to eligible Military families. Please read the FAQs below and follow the instructions to apply for a doll.

Who may request a Deployment Doll?
Deployment Dolls may be requested by the parent / guardian at home caring for the child(ren) of a deployed CAF member.

Does the CAF member need to be deployed for a child to be eligable for a Deployment Doll?
CAF members must be deployed overseas (with the exception of Alert) and already be deployed when a Deployment Doll is requested.

How long must a CAF member be away in order to be eligible for a Deployment Doll?
CAF members must be deployed for a minimum of one month, in order for their child(ren) to be eligible for a Deployment Doll.

Is there an age limit to receive a Deployment Doll?
There is no age restriction for Deployment Dolls as long as the recipients are children of deployed CAF members.

Can I get a Deployment Doll if I've previously received one?
Due to limited quantities, Deployment Dolls are reserved for children who have never received one. Exceptions may be made under special circumstances, and at the discretion of the Military Family Navigator team.

Is there a limit to the number of dolls I can receive?
There is a limit of one Deployment Doll per child.

What is the process to request a Deployment Doll?
To request a Deployment Doll, you will need to fill out the Deployment Doll request form below. Once completed, our team will contact you with pick up details.

Who can pick up the Deployment Doll?
Deployment Dolls may only be picked up by the person who applied for it and a signature will be required. Should you be unable to pick up the doll yourself, alternate arrangements must be made with the Military Family Navigator team in advance.

How and where can I pick up my Deployment Doll?
The Military Family Navigator team will give applicants a date and time to pick up the doll at the South Side Community Centre (1578 Wolfe Ave.).

I'm a CANSOFCOM family, can I request a Deployment Doll?
CANSOFCOM families are not eligible to receive Deployment Dolls from the PMFRC and should speak with their MFS representative for their options.

I'm not attached to Garrison Petawawa, can I request a Deployment Doll?
Unfortunately only CAF members attached to Garrison Petawawa may apply for a Deployment Doll from the PMFRC. Those attached to other bases should check with their local MFRC for other options.

How can I prove my CAF member is deployed?
Prior to departure, CAF members should have filled out their Family Information Form and we will use this as proof. If they have not filled it out or if you’re unsure, please contact the Military Family Navigator team before submitting your Deployment Doll request form.
