Healthy Relationships for Teens

Teaching teens skills from a voice that is not their parents.

  • 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
  • WMFRC

Life Skills for Teens will provide teens the opportunity to learn a basic life skill (budgeting, cooking, survival, vehicle maintenance etc.) that they will be able to use for the rest of their life. Each month a new skill will be learnt.

Our focus this month will be setting boundaries and building healthy relationships. We will explore how to recognize what feels safe and respectful in friendships, dating, family, and online spaces. A couple of our planned activites are tracing each other and creating a collage about boundaries and playing the What If game to build skills in making choices and creating boundaries.

To register contact WMFRC at info@wainwrightmfrc.ca or call 780-842-1363 ext. 530-1253. You can also visit us in person at our office.
