Recreation Kits in OUTCAN

Each month Recreation Kits are available on a first come first served basis with priority going to members posted to remote locations which lack access to host nation MWR programs.

The kits will be sent to any member of the OUTCAN community and will be theirs to keep. Monthly topics include bicycle repair and maintenance, star gazing, bird watching, knitting and more. To support the kits, there will be weekly or bi-weekly virtual guest speakers and/or meet-ups to encourage OUTCAN community engagement. Participation in the workshops will allow your name to be entered into a monthly draw for a Canadian Tire prize.

For those with children, Youth Discovery Kits are also be available on the alternating month's when the RecKit is an adult-focused activity. These kits include items that encourage exploratory play.

The monthly registration dates will be released on our Facebook and Instagram page @pspoutcan so please follow us. When registering for the kits please ensure you indicate if you would like the Recreation kit, the Youth Discovery Kit or both.

Registration is now OPEN for the May RecKits - Makedo Tool Kit. Each kit includes the tools required for your child to create cardboard construction projects. All that is required is some imagination and cardboard.
