Come join Early Childhood Specialist, Mary Hewitt MPEd (ECE), for an evening dedicated to learning about children's emotions AND the how you can access 'Conscious Attunement' as a means to support children through difficult moments.
This workshop will explore:
-What are Emotions and where do they come from?
-What is the body's physiological response to BIG emotions?
-A deep-dive into our own individual relationship with BIG emotions
-How 'Conscious Attunement' can lead to 'True Connection' and how to support children from a place of calm
-The impact of 'Sensory-Shifting' when very BIG emotions arise in children
-What are 'Smoke Signals' and the important role they play in addressing BIG emotions?
