Feelings in Focus - Create your own toolkit for calm and confidence (Ages 13-17)

This free in-person workshop is open to teens ages 13-17 from Military families and will take place at the South Side Community Centre (1578 Wolfe Ave). All materials are provided by PMFRC.

Is your teen feeling overwhelmed? Struggling with stress or anxiety? They are not alone. They can join the PMFRC Mental Health Team for a hands-on workshop designed to help teens (ages 13-17) develop self-regulation skills and build a personalized emotional toolkit to take home. 

 What to Expect: 

  • Supportive Group Setting – Connect with other teens, share experiences, and learn together. 

  • Expert Guidance – Sessions led by a qualified mental health professional. 

  • Practical Coping Skills – Discover techniques to manage stress, anxiety, and challenging emotions. 

  • Personalized Take-Home Toolkit – Teens will choose from provided resources and tools that work for them.

This free in-person workshop is open to teens ages 13-17 from Military families and will take place at the South Side Community Centre (1578 Wolfe Ave). All materials are provided by PMFRC. If a group setting is challenging for your teen, contact us to explore individual session options. Register by April 11.

2. The PMFRC Military Family Navigator – Mental Health will follow up by email with consent forms that will need to be signed by the teen to complete the registration.
