Mini Coping Skills Bootcamp (Ages 6-7)

The Mini Coping Skills Bootcamp is an interactive educational program that teaches children various coping strategies while normalizing the understanding that everyone experiences stressful moments, and that it is okay to experience difficult emotions.

Participants will meet in a supportive space to learn how to manage their worries in a safe and creative way. Each child will create their own friendly “Worry Monster”, a special tool to help them practice deep breathing and give their worries to their monster to hold onto. When we learn to take deep breaths to calm our mind and let our worries go for a moment, they don’t feel as big or scary.

Parents/caregivers must stay onsite for the duration of the session.
