Mini Coping Skills Bootcamp (Virtual)

The Mini Coping Skills Bootcamp is an interactive educational program that teaches children various coping strategies while normalizing the understanding that everyone experiences stressful moments, and that it is okay to experience difficult emotions.

Participants will meet virtually in a safe space to share their feelings and learn coping skills while participating in a fun and creative activity.

Participants are encouraged to attend both sessions:

Session one: Personalized Journal

Create your very own personalized journal to explore your emotions through drawing, doodling or writing about your thoughts and feelings. Youth will be introduced to a variety of journaling prompts and learn how this healthy coping tool can help process emotions, reduce stress and build self-awareness. Materials will be provided to participants one week prior to each session.

Dates: Tuesday, November 17
