Mainland BC Youth Development Award

Mainland BC MFRC is pleased to offer two youth development awards (up to $500) each year.

Youth development awards are for youth in grades 8–11 and are intended to support the continued development of an area of interest outside the academic sphere. These interests may be in arts, sports, or other areas.

Applicants must be the children currently serving Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) members (Regular, PRes, Canadian Rangers, COATS-CIC/GSO). Siblings of currently serving CAF members may apply if both the CAF member and the sibling have their primary residence with their parents. Additionally, spouses/partners of CAF members may apply for the scholarship. Applicants must reside within the Mainland BC area.
