Teal Illumination of Kingston City Hall - Month of the Military Child

Lighting up Kingston in recognition of the strength and resilience of military children.

  • Dusk (April 1) - Dawn (April 2)
  • Springer Market Square
In recognition of Month of the Military Child, Kingston City Hall will be illuminated in teal to honour the strength and resilience of children in Canadian Armed Forces families. Military children often experience frequent relocations, new schools, and periods of separation from loved ones due to service commitments. This symbolic illumination highlights the important role they play within military families and helps raise awareness across the broader Kingston community. By lighting City Hall in teal, the City of Kingston joins the KMFRC and the military community in recognizing and celebrating the experiences and contributions of military children.
