🌟 Kids Matter: A Monthly Drop-In Workshop Just for Kids! 🌟

Looking for a fun, meaningful way to support your child’s mental health and emotional well-being? The KMFRC Kids Matter Workshop is a free, monthly drop-in activity designed specifically for children aged 6–11 from military families.

In this two-hour workshop, kids will explore mindfulness and creativity in a safe, welcoming space alongside peers who understand the unique experiences of military life.

Each session begins with a calming 15-minute meditation to help children relax and build focus, followed by engaging art therapy activities such as drawing, colouring, working with clay, and crafting.

Kids will also enjoy a variety of group-based artistic and physical activities that promote connection, self-expression, and confidence.

To keep energy levels up, a light after-school snack will be provided during a short break. This workshop is a great way for children to recharge emotionally while having fun.

Please note that parents are required to remain on-site at the KMFRC while their child attends.
