Navy Bike Ride

Event Date:  Saturday - June 21st, 2025

Event Start:  1000 hrs (all distances) 

1.  Approx. 6 km - A short ride to Caldwell Road along the Shearwater Flyer Trail and return.

2.  Approx. 15 km - Shearwater Flyer Trail to Bisset Road and return.

3.  Approx. 30 km - Shearwater Flyer Trail, Salt Marsh Trail and return.

4.  Approx. 37 km - Shearwater Flyer Trail, Salt Marsh Trail, and Atlantic View Trail to Lawrencetown Beach and return.

Safety Notes

- Helmets must be worn at all times.

- Riders must be prepared to maintain their own bicycles on the course.

- These public trails cross major roadways and will remain open during the event.  Participants must stop to yield to traffic on roadways. Please be respectful of other individuals using the trail and if there are accidents on the trail, stop to help.

FAQ

Q1.  Will there be jerseys or tshirts available for the event?

A1.  Registration for the 15K, 30K, and 37K includes a T-shirt and finisher coin. Registration for the 6K only includes a finisher coin. Jerseys are available as well and can be purchased separately during registration.

Q2.  Does PSP have mountain bikes and/or helmets available to rent?

A2.  No, not at this time.

Q3.  Can I ride my road bike on the trail?

A3.  Yes.  Additional caution may be required to avoid a flat tire.  The trails are groomed crusher dust and gravel but may have some rougher areas due to weather.
