Canada West Regional Championship
CFB Esquimalt belongs to the Canada West Region, the largest of CAF's four regional divisions. Members from Army, Navy, and Air Force bases across Western Canada compete to qualify for the CAF National Championships. Teams must win Regionals to move on to Nationals, while individual athletes must meet qualification standards in their age category.

CISM & International Sport Competitions
The International Military Sports Council (CISM) organizes high-level sporting events where military athletes from across the world compete in a spirit of friendship and peace. CAF athletes may be selected to represent Canada at these prestigious competitions.
