Camp Maple Leaf

Camp Maple Leaf is a six-day, five-night overnight camp created for children and youth from currently serving and Veteran Canadian Armed Forces families. By bringing together young people who share similar experiences and challenges, the camp fosters connection, belonging, and pride in being part of the military and Veteran community.

The Calgary MFRC offers a subsidy to help children and youth ages 7 to 17 from Calgary, Red Deer, Lethbridge, and surrounding communities attend Camp Maple Leaf.

CAF children and youth will: 

• Have an opportunity to connect with peers from other parts of the country
• Enhance their sense of community
• Learn/try something new that they can't do at home
• Experience nature and have fun
• Reduce their level of stress and anxiety
