Who can access the Pension Portal?
All active members of the Pension Plan, in addition to employees on a leave of absence, former employees, and retirees will have access to the Pension Portal.
Note that access is not available for surviving spouses of deceased CFMWS employees. -
How do I access the Pension Portal?
You will access the Pension Portal from this website www.CFMWS.ca/pensionportal.
When logging in for the first time you will have to set up a user account and create a username and password. The setup includes various steps which require validating the data you provide against data in Aon’s system. You may use a preferred email address in the account creation process. One step in the process is to receive a security code by email that you will input as instructed. After your account has been created, you will be redirected to the login page. You can then enter the username and password to log in to the Pension Portal.

I’m a new employee, when can I access the Pension Portal?
Employee demographic information, employment status changes, pensionable earnings and contributions are sent to the pension administrator bi-weekly once payroll has been processed by CFMWS. Access to the Pension Portal will be activated after your first pay information has been securely uploaded to the pension administrator. This means there could be a delay of up to 1 month from your date of hire to when you can access the Pension Portal.
If it has been over 4 weeks since your date of hire and you remain unable to access the Pension Portal, please contact your local HR Office to verify your information. -
I need to enter my employee number when creating my Pension Portal account. Where can I find this?
Your employee number can be found on your annual pension statement or in HR Self-Service for active employees.

I am a surviving spouse in receipt of a pension from a deceased CFMWS employee/retiree. Can I access the Pension Portal?
Access to the Pension Portal is not currently available for surviving spouses. Please contact Aon Pension Administration Services directly at 1-844-203-2693, Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., EST., excluding statutory holidays, for any questions that you may have about the pension benefit.
