2025-2027 Pension Strategic Plan

Building on the progress made over the last three years, the Pension Board’s 2025-2027 Strategic Plan aims to further develop the Plan member experience and strengthen the long-term sustainability of the Pension Plan. The Strategic Plan will be reviewed on a 3-year rolling basis. 

The CF NPF Employees Pension Plan – 2025-2027 Strategic Plan has the following goals: 

• Goal 1: Ensure the long-term sustainability of the Pension Plan  
• Goal 2: Ensure our Plan is managed in a way that allows for flexible and timely decisions, allowing us to keep up with industry changes and meet our fiduciary responsibilities 
• Goal 3: Improve the Plan member experience  
• Goal 4: Support our Board members in understanding and fulfilling their responsibilities by offering clear, focused training on Pension topics 

The outcomes of the 2025-2027 Strategic Plan are reflected in the Pension Board Annual Reports, which will be made available to our members each summer.
