Family Liaison Officer

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Family Liaison Officer/Social Worker position primarily provides direct support, short-term counselling, and services to members of the 17 Wing Defense Team and civilian family members both of the 17 Wing Transition Centre (TC) and Winnipeg Military Family Resource Centre (MFRC). 

This position is highly responsive to the TC multidisciplinary team in delivering standardized, consistent care, service, and support to Canadian Armed Forces families coping with illness, injury, or special needs. It also provides secondary/backfill services as a member of the MFRC mental health team in support of MFRC clients. 

If you have a Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychotherapy, Psychology, or a related field or a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychotherapy, Psychology, or a related field and three years of experience providing direct services in social work, counseling, or a related field and you are a member of a professional designation registration, we invite you to join our team.
