Parents Information Evening

Hello, parents,

As we do every year, Courcelette Day Camp will be holding an information session for parents who have enrolled their child(ren) in our day camp. The meeting will be held in person!

 When: June 10, 2026

Time: 6:30 p.m.

WHERE: Valcartier Community Center (Building 93, across from the Shannon's Tim Hortons)

Purpose of the meeting:

To explain how the camp operates and answer your questions. Several topics will be covered, such as drop-off/pick-up times, a typical daily schedule, the supplies needed for a great day, camp locations, staff training, the Respect Program, field trips, and more.

At the end of the meeting, distribution and tech support booths will be available for:

1. Distribution of camp T-shirts for your child(ren)
2. Support with Planitou-Activity Messenger registration (communication and attendance tracking platform)
3. Support with swim test registration if you were unable to do so before the information night.

Please note that childcare will be available during the meeting.

• This meeting is not for the Lions Juniors specialized camp. Information regarding each training week for that camp will be sent to you shortly via email, including all specific details.

Swim Tests:

You must reserve a time slot for your swim test in order to participate

To ensure the smooth operation of swimming activities and maximize pool time for each group, no swim tests will be held during the summer. All swim tests must be completed on the dates listed below.

Swim tests will be held during two time slots BEFORE the start of day camp:

• Friday, June 12 – 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM
• Saturday, June 13 – 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM

Under: Children 6 to 12 years old, click on Camps
