Swim to Survive Program
This Lifesaving Society program aims to prevent drowning by introducing children to essential skills in the event of a fall into the water, such as rolling into the water, swimming on the spot for one minute and swimming 50m.

- We also offer the Swim to Survive+ program, which is designed for middle school students and features a higher level of activity, including the requirement to wear clothing.

Swim Test and PFD Use
- All children must wear a PFD during the first session of the “Swim to Survive” challenge.
- Depending on the results of the challenge completed while wearing a PFD, the child may be allowed to remove their PFD for the remainder of the challenge activities.
Presence of Lifeguards
To ensure the group’s safety during the activity, additional lifeguards may be assigned to supervise the entire group, as well as transitions and movements.
