The Military Spousal Employment team is part of Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS), within the Military Family Services (MFS) division. We work every day to support military spouses and partners by creating opportunities and building connections that make a real difference.
We are the go-to resource for military spousal employment - for the military community, MFRCs, spouses and partners, and anyone who wants to make a meaningful, positive change to support military families. Whether through employment support, partnerships, or innovative solutions, we’re passionate about breaking down barriers and helping military families thrive.
Beyond managing the Military Spousal Employment Network (MSEN), we advocate for military families by working with policy makers to address employment challenges. We coordinate career and personal development opportunities, host career fairs, and attend engagement events to connect with communities and stakeholders. Our work extends across the Canadian Armed Forces, the Department of National Defence, employer partners, local MFRCs, and of course, military spouses and partners themselves.
