Between new routines, time apart, and the constant change that comes with military life, transitions can feel big for kids (and parents!).
In this virtual workshop, Parent Educator Erin Curtis from Dragonfly Family and Learning Services blends behavioural theory with practical parenting strategies to help parents understand what is happening in their child’s brain during periods of change and transition.
This virtual session will explore how children experience transitions differently than adults, why disruptions to routine can lead to stress or resistance, and how shifts in communication, preparation, and expectations can make transitions smoother for the entire family.
This program will be delivered in English. A Zoom link will be sent to participants after registration.
