PSP Fitness Clinics

The PSP Fitness team in the NCR is excited to offer CAF members a monthly fitness clinic (every 3rd Thursday) at NDHQ Carling Campus (FORCE room, B2) starting 23 January 2025.  The sessions will aim to bridge the theory and practice behind the implementation of strategies to improve operational readiness. Participants will increase their scientific knowledge of human physiology to develop autonomy in their physical practice.

  • 23 JAN 2025 - Fitness Fundamentals: All basic components to get you started to be operationally ready. Register HERE.
  • 20 FEB 2025 - Force Prep: How to prep for the FORCE prep. More specifically hydration, nutrition, and physical preparation.

  • 20 MAR 2025 - Post Mob + Core @ Desk Workers: Related to reversing the effects of the position that desk work put you on the daily. Register HERE.
  •  24 APR 2025 - FRC Mobility Training: Introduction to Functional Range Conditioning. Mobility = flexibility + strength. Relearning end range of motion strength and flexibility. Register HERE.
  •  22 MAY 2025 - Running Fundamentals: Going over the gait fundamentals, how to prepare the body for the sport for an injury free summer! Register HERE.
  •  26 JUN 2025 - HIIT: High Intensity Interval Training : What it is and how to do safely. Register HERE.
  •  24 JUL 2025 - Teaching the deadlift: Technique fundamentals, mobility, and accessory work to complement the compound movement.
  • 21 AUG 2025 - Basics of Self-Defense: Learn skills to defend yourself confidently and safely in a variety of scenarios.
  • 18 SEP 2025 - Program Design: A seminar to help educate the members to create the most specific programs for themselves.
  • 23 OCT 2025 - Eccentric Isometrics: Intro to this training technique as a means to engage stab muscles to address muscles imbalances.
  • 20 NOV 2025 - Olympic Lifting Fundamentals: Basics of cleaning and snatching periodization as well and accessory lifts.
