The Kingston Military Family Resource Centre (KMFRC), in collaboration with Personnel Support Programs (PSP), is proud to host the 4th Annual Connect-A-Thon—a dynamic community celebration bringing together CAF members, Veterans, families, and local service providers. 

This fun-filled, family-friendly event is your chance to connect with the community, discover local resources, and enjoy the very best of summer at CFB Kingston.

🏫 Les Petits Amis Childcare Centre Open House 

You're invited to step inside the KMFRC and tour our Les Petits Amis Childcare Centre. 
Learn more about our childcare offerings, meet staff, and ask questions in a relaxed, drop-in setting throughout the event. 

🍔 Free BBQ Lunch 

Registered attendees can enjoy a complimentary BBQ lunch!

⚠️ Please note: While we will do our best to prevent cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee allergen-free food service. If you or your child has allergies, please take necessary precautions. 

🚍 Shuttle Service & Parking 

Due to limited on-site space, there will be no general parking available in the KMFRC parking lot, and accessible parking will be very limited. 
To make things easy and fun, we’ve collaborated with Kingston Trolley Tours to offer continuous, accessible shuttle service between: 

• 📍 McNaughton Parade Square (overflow lot) 
• 📍 KMFRC 

Shuttles will run approximately every 15 minutes, with the last return trip departing the KMFRC at 3:00 PM. 
🚨 Please note: There will be a brief break in service from 1:00–1:30 PM for the driver’s lunch.

🧺 What to Bring 

• Lawn chairs or picnic blankets 

• Reusable water bottles (refill station on-site) 

• Sunscreen and hats 

• Towels and bathing suits for water activities 

• Non-perishable food item for the Food Bank 

• Spending $ money for a sweet treat

🧡 Community Giving – Support the Food Bank 

In the spirit of connection and community, we’re inviting attendees to bring a non-perishable food item for donation. 
There will be two collection barrels on-site at the registration station, and all donations will go to support the Kingston Food Bank. 

This small gesture is a simple way we can all contribute to the wellbeing of our extended community. 
Donations are encouraged but not required—we appreciate every bit of support! 

🐾 Pet-Friendly Event 

The outdoor portion of the event is pet-friendly! 
Bring your well-behaved furry companions along to enjoy the day—there will be three dog water stations set up throughout the grounds to help keep pets cool and hydrated. 

🐕 Please note: Only service animals are permitted inside the KMFRC building, including the Les Petits Amis Daycare open house.

In the event of inclement weather, the Connect-A-Thon will move indoors to: 
Constantine Arena – 7 Navy Way, Kingston 

🐾 Please note: The rain plan will transition the event to an indoor-only experience. Only service animals will be permitted inside the venue.
