Lifesaving Society Swim Lessons

The Swim for Life lots of in-water practice to develop solid swimming strokes and skills.  We incorporate valuable Water Smart education that will last a lifetime.

Programs start with Parents & Tots for children aged 4 months to 24 months of age.  For our 3 to 5 year olds preschool levels prepare them to move into our Swimmer program for children 5 years of age and older.  Whether you're just starting out or just want help with your strokes, our Adult program is for the young at heart - no matter what your age.

Fall Swim Lesson Registration

Swim Lesson General Information

  • Swim lessons are scheduled for 8 sessions once per week.  If a lesson is cancelled due to weather or pool closures classes will be made up at the end of session. 
  • Cancellations will be notified via email, phone call or you can call the at (902) 765- 1494 ext. 5564.  Like us on Facebook -- 14 Wing Greenwood Aquatics PSP -- for updates on upcoming registrations, cancellations, and other pool events.  
  • Please bring in your previous report cards.  This allows the instructor to know what your child needs to work on in the next level. 
  • Instructors have been told that swimmers must be proficient at the skill before checking off the skill.  This must be a minimum of three times.  Just because your child is able to perform the skill may not mean he/she is proficient enough to move to the next level with this skill.  If you have questions on what your child should be working on please leave a note for the instructor at the front desk following your lesson.
