Welcome to Brussels!  Brussels is the main base of operation of the European Union.  It is also a vibrant city with many cultural aspects and well-developed public amenities.

With over 100 Canadians in our dynamic community, MFS(E) Brussels is ready to support YOU! We will assist with your transition and continual support during your OUTCAN posting. We provide families an opportunity to stay connected, as we offer an array of programs, social gatherings, workshops, wellness events, youth employment programs and services (Emergency and Respite Child Care support, social work support). We have on-site Community Services Providers, who play a key role in providing continued support for our families.

Upon your first visit to our centre, you will see that, unlike other locations, we operate out of a house (Maison Marquis) belonging to DND. Our centre is equipped with resources to meet our CAF families’ various needs.

Upon arrival, MFS(E) Brussels will provide families with a welcome bag containing information, reference materials, and items to assist with their posting. Every year, an annual welcome event and briefing is held at Maison Marquis to facilitate introductions for new community members and to familiarize families with the services available.
