Discover the calming, creative world of rope and seed bead jewelleryin our monthly virtual class. Each session focuses on simple, hands on techniques like knotting, braiding, and bead weaving that anyone can learn. We’ll experiment with colour, texture, and pattern to create unique, self closing pieces (no clasps or metal findings needed). It’s an easygoing space to play with materials, learn new skills, and enjoy a bit of creative time together.

Tote of Handy Supplies for Each Class:
Keep a small craft tote or box with these basics so you’re always ready to join in:
• Cotton cord, nylon cord, or waxed rope (various thicknesses)
• A selection of beads and seed beads (any sizes, colours, or mixes)
• Beading needle (thin enough for seed beads)
• Beading thread or strong nylon thread
• Scissors
• Tape or a clipboard (to hold cord in place while knotting)
• A lighter (for safely melting and sealing cord ends)
• Small pliers (optional, for tightening knots)
• A small tray or dish to keep beads from rolling
