Payment Options / Set Fee Plans
1. Clients may purchase a PSP PLAN (individual or family) for a set fee for the following terms of length: 1 month; 3 months; 6 months; 12 months
2. Set fees are not subject to change during the course of the PLAN and must be paid in full up front. These plans do not automatically renew and expire at the appropriate length of time from the date of purchase.
3. PSP PLAN set fee plans may start from the day of purchase or at another date convenient to the client.
Cancelling PSP PLAN
4. Clients have the right to cancel a PSP PLAN within ten days of starting their membership. They don’t need a reason to cancel and will receive a full refund. All they need to do is to provide notice.
5. Cancellation of set fee PSP PLANS are only permitted for medical reasons or military operations. Accompanying documentation may be required. Refunds are prorated to date of withdrawal.
6. Transfer of memberships is not permitted.
PSP PLAN Extensions/Holds
7. PSP will only extend or hold PSP PLANs if the client is in good standing and has all fees paid.
8. Clients must provide at least ten days’ notice for a extension or hold request, to allow PSP to process request, and the client must qualify for one of the two categories below:
a. Medical Disability* accompanying documentation may be required; and
b. Military Operations (relocation, and deployment).
*Note there may be a minimum or maximum for amount of time for a hold.
9. During a hold the client’s right to use PSP facilities is frozen or suspended, i.e. if a member requests a extension for a month due to operations, the month the member is away the card will be suspended.
10. If a client request does not conform to PSP PLAN terms and conditions they will be notified that their request has been denied and their membership shall remain active. No holds will be approved where less than thirty days remain until the contract expiry date.
Suspensions
11. Breech of the PSP PLAN, facility rules and regulations may result in the PSP PLAN being suspended for an individual, family or single member of a family plan. During a suspension the individual does not have access to the facilities, services linked to the plan, and payments will not be refunded.
Admittance
12. Children under the age of 13 must be directly supervised by a guardian (19 years);
13. Children and youth 13 years old and older may use facilities unsupervised, though youth access (13-17) to the weight/cardio rooms must be in accordance with Youth Access to Fitness Training Facility Policy; and
14. During some registered program, children and youth do not need supervision other than from the instructor/supervisor of this program (i.e. summer camp, aikido club, swimming classes).*
*If you are unsure if the program you are registering for requires guardian supervision, confirm at time of registration.
Conduct
15. While in PSP facilities PSP does not permit and will not tolerate any inappropriate conduct. Such conduct includes, without limitation, using loud, abusive, offensive, insulting, demeaning language, profanity, lewd conduct or any conduct that harasses or is bothersome to members, guests or PSP employees.
Prohibited Items and Activities
16. PSP does not permit smoking/vaping, alcohol, or drugs, including steroids, in any of its facilities. PSP does not permit access under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
17. No client may train another client for compensation. If PSP determines that such training occurs at one of our facilities, the trainer and/or trainee may lose their membership without refund.
18. No photography, videotaping, filming or audio recording in PSP facilities without prior written permission of the management.
Violation of Policies or Rules
19. If any PSP PLAN holder or guest violates any of the local Policies or Rules, PSP will ask that person to stop or leave. A member’s violation of any of the Policies or Rules may also cause PSP, in its sole discretion, to terminate that person’s membership and/or other agreements.
Reciprocal Use
20. PSP PLAN holders from the REGULAR classification who are in good standing while visiting another CAF location for military operations and temporary duty (this includes house hunting trips) and holidays may use PSP plan facilities of the visiting location under the operating rules of the visiting facilities.
21. It is up to the REGULAR member to determine if a visitor card or other communication from the home base is required at another base they are visiting.
Local Rules
22. PSP PLAN holders must follow the specific rules that are posted regarding the use of each facility within the Fitness, Sports, or Recreation Complex: Base departments will determine local rules for:
a. Equipment use;
b. Time restrictions;
c. Appropriate dress;
d. Locker use;
e. Solicitation;
f. Guest use/drop in fees; and
g. Services and Benefits included with PSP PLAN.
