Military members and their families in the Winnipeg and Thunder Bay areas have access to a range of personalised services designed to support every stage of a work‑related absence. Whether you are preparing to leave, currently deployed, or returning from a short‑ or long‑term deployment, training, or tasking, your Winnipeg MFRC is here to provide the support and resources you need.

Includes a review of an "Everything Package" to help with ensuring all important documents and information are safely kept in one binder before your deployment.

Morale Mail Parcel Packing

This service is offered to families with a member currently deployed overseas or deployed to Alert.

The MFRC has a parcel packing station located in our Resource Library, with all the supplies and information needed to send a parcel to your loved ones.

It is a confidential and informal telephone service to support and inform you of our services, resources, activities and events. It is also a quick way to check in with your family to see how everyone is doing. This takes place 30 to 60 days after an initial deployment and during the reintegration phase.
