Reservation policies
RESERVATION SERVICE
1.1 Accessibility of the reservation service: You can make a reservation at the reception of the Centre Castor by phone by dialing 418.844.3272, according to the usual opening hours of the Centre Castor. Reservations are only allowed up to 72 hours before the expected arrival date.

1.2 PASSPORT REQUIRED AT TIME OF RESERVATION
At the time of reservation, you must provide a copy of your passport. If is not possible, you must send us a photo of your passport(s). These will serve as a deposit and confirmation. They will be added to your file. Please make sure that the photo(s) are enlarged enough to clearly see the validation code.
1.3 PASSPORT CLAIM
The passport will be claimed 14 days before your arrival as a deposit. Please note that at this stage (14 days prior to arrival) no modification will be possible for your reservation.
1.4 EXPIRED PACKAGE
If the due date has passed, we will offer you a credit on your reservation for the original purchase amount of your package.
2 NIGHTS MINIMUM REQUIRED FOR THE HIGH WINTER SEASON
Some exceptions may apply (ex: active military).
2. The high winter season includes :
The holiday season from December 20th to January 10th.
School breaks in Montreal and Quebec City.
Weekends from December 15th to March 31st.
1 NIGHT POSSIBLE FOR THE HIGH WINTER SEASON
* Reservation on weekdays from Sunday to Thursday outside the above mentioned periods.
** Last minute reservation: availability of the accommodation maximum 7 days before the arrival date.
You must contact us to make your reservation.
*** Outside of the winter season, one night is possible at all times.
DETAILS OF FEES
3. Fees payable at the time of reservation: the 30% deposit is payable at the time of reservation.
3.1 The reservation fee is not refundable ($4.35 + taxes).
FEES PAYABLE UPON ARRIVAL
4. The fee payable upon arrival at Centre Castor is the total amount of the invoice less the deposit and the security deposit of $250.
You and your guests must have in your possession a valid trail pass for the duration of your stay. The passes will be available at the reception desk upon arrival for the number of people present at the time of registration. For late arrivals or autonomous arrivals, passes will be given at the reception desk the day after your arrival, for the number of people booked. If visitors arrive during your stay, they will have to purchase a pass for the activity(ies) they wish to participate in at the Centre Castor reception desk at the regular rate.
OCCUPATION
5. Prices are for 4 occupants for the 20 foot yurt and 6 occupants for the 24 foot yurt including children and visitors.
FEES
6. Accommodation taxes, GST and QST are applicable.
CONFIRMATION
7. You will receive by email, your reservation number. You will then know that your reservation is guaranteed.
7.1 Reservation number: You will receive a reservation number at the end of each completed reservation. This number will be sent to you by email. If you do not receive a reservation number, your reservation is not complete. You must provide a valid email address and your credit card information. If you have not received your reservation number, please contact us at 418.844.3272 to confirm that the original reservation has been completed.
RESERVATION MODIFICATION
(No changes to the reservation 14 days prior to arrival).
8. Changes can only be made online or by phone 14 days prior to arrival. For a postponement requested within the required 14 days, you will be given a 3 month period to schedule a new reservation date. After this grace period, the reservation will be automatically cancelled by the system and the deposit will be lost. In addition, only one rescheduling is allowed.
CANCELLATION
9. Cancellations prior to check-in (cancellations MUST be made by email or phone):
Once the reservation is completed, no refund of the deposit will be given For Outgo guests, the passport serves as the deposit.
LATE ARRIVAL - AUTONOMOUS
10. Late arrival or autonomous arrival means: arrival while the Centre Castor reception is closed.
10.1 Late arrival - autonomous must be agreed upon prior to arrival and according to the Centre Castor's reception facilities. Instructions, relevant information and the after-hours check-in policy will be sent to you by email, at the latest, the same day of your arrival.
10.2. Center Castor accepts late arrivals or autonomous arrivals only when written in the rental contract.
*If the Centre Castor does not have any mention of late arrival or autonomous arrival in the contract and you show up "after hours", you will not have access to the accommodation site. You will be able to arrive at the opening of the Beaver Center the next day. Your site will be reserved for you until 11:00 a.m. if necessary. *** No refunds will be given.
**If you are unable to arrive at the Centre Castor before the closing of the reception on the day of your scheduled arrival, but still wish to hold your reservation, you must contact the Centre Castor staff before 3:00 p.m. to inform them of your reservation and make the necessary arrangements with them. A fee may apply.
CLOSING
If Centre Castor has to close a campground for any reason, including security reasons, all affected reservations will be cancelled and a full refund will be given, including the reservation fee and deposit. We will do our best to give you as much notice as possible in these circumstances.
SPECIAL CLAUSES
In the event of uncontrollable circumstances such as power failure, internet failure, Centre Castor is not responsible for any inconvenience suffered. No compensation and/or refund will be given to the tenant.
In the case of late arrival, early departure and/or date error on the part of the tenant. No compensation and/or refund will be granted to the tenant.
