Camps and programs for military kids in NCR

The Warrior Kids program is designed to help families build resilience around unique traumatic experiences encountered as a First Responder or Veteran, as well as other organizational stressors such as shift work, danger, and postings. The programs have been developed to support children aged 8-16.

The Warrior Kids Camp and Virtual programs consist of two formats: 

-  A 6 week psycho-educational virtual group. Registration is closed for winter 2025 session

-  A two-day in person overnight camp delivered at various locations in Canada in spring/ summer 2025

Camps for children of Military Families (Serving and Veterans): Camp sessions are dedicated to children from military families with a parent who is either serving or a Veteran. These sessions foster a sense of community and pride in their roles as members of the broader military community.

Summer Camps Program: Offering eligible, serving military families of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) Community the opportunity to receive reimbursement grants for their children to attend a registered summer camp of their choice (day or overnight camp).

The Support Our Troops (SOT) camp grants are only made possible through the generosity of donors across Canada.
