What to Expect When Contacting Our Team

Steps to Seek Support from Our Mental Health Team

  • Step 1 - Email the Mental Health Inbox

To get started, email the MFS NCR Mental Health inbox at mfsncr-mentalhealth@cfmws.com to request services.

  • Step 2 - Complete Intake Forms

Once you've received acknowledgement from the Mental Health Team, you will be requested to review, complete, and sign the following documents:

  • Step 3 - Triage Call

Once your completed forms are received, a Family Counsellor will contact you to schedule a brief triage call.

In this call, you can expect to have a conversation with a counsellor about the services that you are seeking. This call helps determine whether our short-term counselling services are the best fit for your needs and what other programs and services are available to your family.

  • Step 4 - Booking Your First Session

After the triage process, a Family Counsellor will reach out to offer available appointment times for your first session.

You can choose the format that works best for you:

    • In-person

    • Virtual (online)

    • Phone

  • Step 5 - Finding Services That Meet Your Needs
If it is determined that our short-term counselling services may not best meet your needs, a Family Counsellor will provide alternative resources or referrals to help you access appropriate care.
