"I cannot say enough about the KMFRC in Kingston. They are always so welcoming and loving and supportive. I love the deployment support they give as a wife of a military member who always deploys. It was so amazing the support I received from phone calls to coffee connection. I also love the fact that the deployment support does not stop just when they return home. The support continues, as when they come home, it is a real thing that it is hard to get use to them being around. The KMFRC helps us and we love that they offer so much support. I can’t say anything bad about them. They are amazing and we are going to miss them as we are posted again. Thank you KMFRC for all you do. You guys are amazing people from the front desk to the departments."

"The staff of the KMFRC have been supporting me through some of the most challenging and devistating years of my life. I can't express my gratitude enough for the services and support that I have received. Everyone at the MFRC (childcare, mental health support, deployment support program, workshops, events, and coffee club) have been my life preserver when I felt I was drowning in grief, stress, parenting, deployment , and much more. These services helped me make connections with new friends and forge a support network that I've been able to rely on many times. I am now posted and I am quite sad to be leaving. That said I feel blessed to have had access to all of the services here in my most vulnerable and difficult times."

"My daughter attended the march break camp, and it was a wonderful experience for her. The educators in the classroom provided her with age-appropriate activities. My daughter really enjoys the new couch in the cozy corner and playing at the house centre. She really enjoyed the daily themes that the educators had planned, especially pajama day!! I would recommend the camps at LPA to any family that is looking for a wonderful day camp to keep their children active and busy."

"Our family received help with a Good Food Box. We appreciate having this resource available to us as things have been tight lately and although we won’t receive the box until mid month, just knowing that there would be fresh fruits and veggies available for our two children, along with the other resources that were provided by staff, took a little bit of pressure off our family."

"We are a British Army family recently posted into Kingston CFB. I was looking for work experience options for my daughter over the summer, but found it hard to navigate the options in the community. Many organisations apply rules and procedures which are unfamiliar to us. After several failed attempts to secure this myself, I contacted the KMFRC. Staff here, particularly Tanzen Lecuyer, have been so supportive. They took time to listen to what we needed and to consider the best course of action. They put me in touch with someone who was interested in helping and we have managed to secure a week of relevant work experience for my daughter over the summer. This will keep her in line with her peers, and will help with her upcoming application for university. I cannot thank the KMFRC enough - quite simply we were stuck, and they sorted us out!"
