Family Days FAQ

Can I bring my dog? 

• Unfortunately no, only service dogs will be permitted on site.

Is the event open to the public?

• Unfortunately, no. This is a military only event meant to thank DND personnel and their families for all they do!

The military member in our family is away and I do not have military ID - how do I attend this event with my children?

• Any proof that you are a military family will suffice. If you have a CF One card that is perfect! If you do not have a CF One card, we recommend you apply for one now!

Will there be parking available at the event?

• Parking will be limited and we will also be offering a shuttle service. Our schedule for shuttles will be available soon!

Do I need cash for the BBQs?

• We will be accepting Visa/Mastercard and Interac, at our BBQ locations, for all food and drink purchases. We will also be accepting cash.

Do the attractions cost money?

• NO! Everything at Family Days is FREE with the exception of food, drinks and carnival games!

Do I need a ticket for the Rhib Rides?

• No! Simply wait in line and enjoy the ride!

Can we wear sandals on the Rhib Rides?

• No! Closed toe shoes are REQUIRED for Rhib Rides.
