Connect and share with other moms in a safe and nurturing space while building a supportive social network for you and your baby. Each session will focus on information, resources and advice that supports the health and wellness of both mom and baby as well as specific topics that affect mothers in the military community such as:
- Pregnancy, birth, baby care and parenting
- Nutrition during pregnancy and breast feeding
- Healthy relationships between parents
- Post-partum mental health support
- Absence and relocation planning and community integration
- Information and referrals for community supports
Sessions run twice per month and participants can join at any time.

February 12: Affirmation Boxes - Join us to create our very own affirmation boxes to help build a positive mindset and sense of resiliency during the ups and downs of motherhood. Participants will fill the boxes with hand-written affirmations that express gratitude, encourage self-care, build self-esteem, celebrate accomplishments, and promote kindness to oneself.
March 12: Baby Handprint Blossoms – Create a Spring inspired personalized art piece that will turn your little one’s handprint into a blooming flower. This unique keepsake will capture the joy of watching your baby blossom and symbolize their growth in a truly unique and meaningful way.

January 29: From Baby Steps to Big Goals - Improving Your Family Finances - Join us for an informative session with Lisa Eden, Financial Counsellor with SISIP Financial Edmonton, who will share information on SISIP’s services and valuable insights on financial planning—tailored specifically for new parents. Learn practical strategies to secure your family’s financial future, manage expenses, and make smart decisions for both you and your child. Whether you're just starting out or planning for the years ahead, this session will equip you with the knowledge to confidently navigate financial challenges as a new parent.
February 26: Intellidance - Come learn how dance, music and play can nurture early social, emotional and physical development in your little ones. In this session, we will be joined by Ward School of Dance who will guide us through circle dances, free exploration, songs and rhymes, and sensory activities to help babies develop their cognitive, emotional and physical health. Participants will also learn how dance and music can strengthen the parent-baby bond while making connections with other moms.
March 26: Caregiver Resiliency - Anxiety Workshop - Caregiving wearing you down? Learn how to stay strong and resilient while caregiving for your children. Building resilience helps to maintain your health and capacity to care, both for yourself and your little ones. In this session, we will be joined by a Caregiver Educator from the North Central Edmonton Family Resource Network, who will not only teach us how to bounce back from setbacks but also how to bounce forward by preparing, adapting and exploring ways to take better care of yourself.
