Become a Volunteer

The MFRC Volunteer Program offers many opportunities for personal and professional growth within the military community.

Volunteers gain new skills, meet new people, get involved in the community, explore career possibilities and receive the personal satisfaction of making a difference. Volunteers are integral to the MFRC’s success; all ages are welcome to share their talents.

Orientation and Training

The MFRC has a variety of volunteer opportunities from which to choose. We want to ensure that your experience with us is a good match for both you and the MFRC. To become an MFRC volunteer you must complete the following:

1.    Volunteer Application Form
2.    Agency Agreement
3.    Confidentiality Agreement

Once you have completed the above forms, please arrange for a meeting with the Fund Development and Volunteer Coordinator by emailing [email protected] or calling 780-973-4011 ext. 528-2285. Depending on the volunteer opportunity you choose, additional screening may be required. You will receive orientation and training by the appropriate MFRC staff. Volunteers receive appropriate levels of supervision according to their task, and are given regular opportunities to receive and give feedback.
