Deployment Support Services

The Calgary MFRC supports Canadian Armed Forces members and their families throughout every stage of the deployment experience. From preparing for an upcoming absence and navigating time apart to welcoming a loved one home and adjusting during reintegration, our team is here to provide information, practical resources, and meaningful connection along the way.

For Calgary MFRC programs and services, a deployment is defined as any CAF-related absence lasting 28 consecutive days or more. This may include courses, taskings, Imposed Restrictions (IR), field exercises, and domestic or international deployments. We understand that every family experiences separation differently, and support is available based on your family’s individual needs.

If you or a loved one is preparing for a deployment, currently away, or returning home, you do not have to navigate the experience alone. Our team is here to help you stay informed, connected, and supported throughout the entire deployment cycle.
