Accessibility
The Centre promotes an environment of equality and respect. Centre programs, services and communications will not perpetuate biases and prejudices such as those based on gender, age, ethnicity, race, ability, religion, sexual orientation or socio-economic background.

Integrity and Accountability
The Centre ensures accountability to community members, funders and partners through responsible fiscal planning processes as outlined in the Centre’s Annual Business Plan. Centre programs, services and activities are regularly evaluated through a variety of assessment tools and performance indicators that determine the relevance, impact and viability of services and support the achievement of MFSP goals. The Centre operates in an accountable and transparent manner.

Community Development and Involvement
The Centre promotes and adopts community development as a process of focused growth and change within a group that is bonded through shared interests and values. Community engagement and participation in activities and decisions that facilitate the well-being of a community life are at the centre of successful community development efforts.
The Centre recognizes the inherent resources, skills and capacities of families. Community Members are the organization’s most valuable contributors and their involvement and participation is strongly encouraged at every level maintaining a sense of cooperation, ownership and accomplishment.

Confidentiality
The Centre respects the integrity of all those involved and assures that all information concerning their involvement with the Centre shall be protected in a confidential manner, in accordance with the MFSP Privacy Code.

Partnerships
The Centre encourages and respects mutually supportive partnerships with the Canadian Forces and, the broader civilian/CAF community to enhance individual, family and community development. The Centre works collaboratively with its partners to provide safe, secure family and community environments.

Quality
Community Members receive the highest degree of excellence that is reflected in every component of the organization. The Centre continually seeks to improve practices and advocates for policies, services and systems that strengthen CAF communities and enhance the well-being of families.

Volunteerism
The Centre encourages volunteer involvement at all levels within the organization and are the driving force of the organization. Volunteers actively participate at all levels of the organization from direct service program support to governance and have a direct impact on the quality of services offered to the organizations membership.
