Sponsorship and Donations

The Wainwright Military Family Resource Centre (WMFRC) is a non-profit agency registered under Alberta's Societies Act. Through funding and donations, the WMFRC provides and facilitates support that is essential for families to remain strong members of their communities. 

Military family life has unique challenges, and WMFRC programs and services are a vital means of providing support by ensuring that military families have the resources required to integrate into their new surroundings and heighten their sense of community. When we boost military families’ resiliency, they are better equipped to support our troops. 

MFRC’s are the only local non-profit organizations nationally mandated as the frontline service provider to Canadian military families. While a portion of the WMFRC's annual funding comes from the Directorate of Military Family Services, we also rely on sponsorship and fundraising to meet our objectives.
